Revenue Controller (12 month FTC)

Our client is a leading international law firm with over 50 offices spanning the globe. They have nearly 4000 lawyers across Europe, North & Latin America, Asia, Middle & Far East and Australia. Their London based accounts department provides a professional service to the international practice.

The firm has one of the best benefits packages in London and are renowned for this investment in training for lawyers and business support staff.

They are currently looking to hire a Revenue Controller on a 12 month FTC.

Responsibilities

Preparation of invoices for designated practice areas

e-billing knowledge to be applied when required

Contact with the remote billing team to ensure accuracy and compliance of the billing output

Holding monthly WIP review meetings

Working with the Revenue Leader and Financial Controller, in order to ensure suitable escalation of revenue/billing issues take place

Correctly applying rate structures and alternative pricing/billing arrangements

Ensure adherence to the SRA accounts rules and UK and EC VAT regulations

Review  and assign tasks reviewed into team inbox

Candidate Profile

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Experience using SAP, Aderant, Expert or Elite Enterprise/3G

Working knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and VAT Regulations

Revenue control and legal billing experience. Within a city law firm would be desirable

MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) experience

Good knowledge of e-billing, within a legal environment.

Previous experience of working in multiple currencies, alternative pricing/billing arrangements and applying rate structures

LEDES experience would be desirable
