Share Schemes/ Incentives lawyer 1+ years’ PQE LEEDS

Commercial law firm in Leeds is looking to recruit a Share Schemes/ Incentives lawyer of 1 or more years’ PQE. The current high profile reviews of executive remuneration by the government and other interested parties, the media spotlight on diversity and gender pay issues and growing awareness by employers of the need for financial education and the importance of financially-related workplace benefits, together with continuing all-party support for wider share ownership make it an exciting area in which to work. Share plans and incentives draw on a number of areas of legal knowledge: tax, employment, governance and regulatory, corporate and commercial. It requires drafting skills with a good eye for detail, an ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in plain English, an organised and practical approach, strong project management skills, the ability to deal with a range of people and personalities, and a sense of humour! Our client will consider candidates who currently specialise in Incentives/ Share Schemes law or candidates who currently specialise in Corporate Tax law (and have some Incentives/ Share Schemes experience) who have decided that they would like to focus more on become Incentives/ Share Schemes.
