Commercial Real Estate (Res Development & Investment) lawyer NQ – 2 & 3+ years’ PQE

Commercial law firm in Newcastle is seeking to recruit two Commercial Real Estate lawyers to undertake work in the Residential Development & Investment side. They are are looking to recruit one candidate of 0 to 2 years’ PQE and the other of 3 or more years’ PQE. The team acts for a number of corporate investor, national house-builder and social housing clients, specialising in the acquisition, disposal and management of residential development and investment sites, across the UK. The transactions are often high value, complex and offer excellent opportunities to be involved with some of the best quality work in the regions.  There will be plenty of opportunities for client contact and you'll be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with these contacts.  Business development is also an important aspect of the role and you will be expected to contribute to the growth of the team by assisting with the organisation of and attending client events, writing articles for the firm’s website and other marketing activities. If you are already qualified, you will currently specialise in Commercial Real Estate law, ideally with at least some knowledge of Residential Development &/or Investment work. If you are newly-qualified, you must have undertaken a seat in Commercial Property law (applications from Summer/ Autumn 2017 qualifiers are welcome).
