Commercial (Healthcare) lawyer NQ – 4 years’ PQE

Commercial (Healthcare) lawyer of 0 to 4 years’ PQE is sought by this commercial law firm in London. As the job title suggests, it will involve undertaking Commercial law in the Healthcare sector. You will advise on a range of matters including: • related constitutional issues • public procurement (strategic advice supported by sector experts) contract design • set up and use of framework Agreements • providing advice on all types of contracts for the purchase of goods and services.

More experienced candidates will have an understanding of and ability to advise on the implementation of relevant NHS Policy and relevant Regulatory and other Guidance as it applies to the implementation of new models of care and the provision and commissioning of healthcare.

You will take responsibility on smaller matters and work together with the team (locally and Nationally) on larger matters. You will also play an active role in marketing and business development. If you are already qualified, you will specialise in Commercial (Healthcare) law or be a general Commercial lawyer with a keen interest and knowledge of the Health Sector. Newly-qualified lawyers will have at least undertaken a seat in general Commercial law, but any experience gained in the Healthcare sector or a demonstrable interest in the healthcare sector will be an advantage (applications from Summer/ Autumn 2017 qualifiers are welcome).
