BD Manager - fixed term contract

Business Development Manager position within an international law firm.  This is a maternity cover position for 9-12 months.  The firm has a fresh and innovative approach and acts from clients ranging from  start-ups to multinational leaders of industry, with a client base that includes 60% of the world’s top 50 brands. In every case, we provide specialised legal advice, backed by a finely-tuned commercial intelligence.

This Business Development Manager role will support the Disputes, IP, Media Tech groups, and will be responsible for driving activity across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.  Working with some of the highest profile lead partners in the firm’s market leading technology practice, this role will be challenging yet rewarding.  You will be client facing and responsible for driving opportunities within new and existing clients, coordinating regional business development activity to ensure the firm’s international presence continues to grow.  You will also be involved in identifying targets, managing key client relationships, coming up with initiatives and new ideas, tailoring campaigns to local markets and cross selling. 

This role would suit a highly proactive, experienced BD Manager looking for a challenging and varied role.  You should enjoy seeing ideas through to implementation, and be able to work autonomously.  Having built strong partner relationships, you will demonstrate the soft influencing skills to get things off the ground in a partnership.  Experience as a Business Development Manager/Senior Executive in a legal or accounting firm would be ideal.
