Locum Commercial Property Solicitor

A local Authority in the Norfolk is currently recruiting a Commercial Property Lawyer, for a locum assignment that will run for 3 – 6 months minimum, with the likelihood of further extension beyond this initial period.

This position is offered on a full time basis with the opportunity for home working and/or flexible working arrangements.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with previous experience specializing in Commercial Property law, ideally from a Local Authority background. Experienced Lawyers with a Private Practice background with the relevant experience will also be considered

Duties will include:

• Dealing with all aspects of property law, both commercial and residential
• Advising on the full remit of property law including leases, sales, purchases, licences, easements and other land management queries
• Advising on town and village green applications
• Advising senior offices, instructing senior counsel and preparing for public inquiries
• Advising on title and land assembly issues
• Procuring legal advice from external Solicitors
• Providing legal advice and assistance to offices and elected Members on statute case law and polices

In return for this work, the candidate will earn a competitive hourly rate of £35 - £42 per hour depending on experience.
