Well-established Carlisle practice undergoing a period of expansion seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor.

With a broad range of expertise, they provide specialist, tailored advice to commercial and individual clients in a professional, approachable and efficient manner.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and client-focused Private Client Solicitor to join our clients’ flourishing practice near the centre of Carlisle. Becoming part of a growing department which includes one of the firms’ partners; the successful Solicitor will handle a full and varied caseload to include: Will drafting; applying for grants of probate; estate administration; Court of Protection applications; preparing and registering LPAs and; tax planning. The ideal Solicitor will also participate in business development activities, building strong relationships with clients and external professionals.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor, with applications sought from NQ – senior level.
You must have solid experience gained within a reputable Private Client department.
You will have excellent technical and client care skills.
You will be personable with the ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and other professionals at all levels.
An aptitude for business development would be advantageous.
Additional accreditations such as STEP and/or SfE are desirable but not essential.
