Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance

The client are a start up Financial Services organisation who operate predominantly in the consumer credit space. At the moment they offer HCST loans but have a platform capable of effectively becoming a "challenger bank" (i.e. credit cards, bank accounts, mortgages etc...).

Having secured up to £100m in funding, the business plan to grow rapidly and as such they want to bring in a Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance to ensure that the business grows commercially and compliantly.

The successful candidate will be the face of the business to the FCA and PRA and responsibilities will be well varied. The position will be moulded around the chosen candidate but ideally the candidate would be a qualified solicitor with FS regulatory expertise - The weighting of compliance to legal responsibilities will be decided by the candidate coming in. They will be required to build and develop a successful compliance and legal function.
