Commercial law firm in Birmingham is looking to recruit a junior Employment lawyer of 0 - 2 years’ PQE (applications from Summer/ Autumn 2017 qualifiers are welcome). The contentious work will be entirely defendant, representing corporate clients in Employment Tribunals. The role will also involve supporting on a range of Employment law work varying in scale and complexity. Other aspects of the role include: • Providing general employment advice • Drafting employment contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures • Corporate support - assisting in transactional work • Participating in marketing activities such as writing bulletins/articles, preparation and presenting at seminars and client events, networking and public speaking.
If you are already qualified you will specialise in Employment law. If you are newly-qualified you must have undertaken a seat in Employment law.
