A financial services institution is looking for a 2- 8 PQE General Commercial Lawyer to join their legal team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
ROLE:
This role will be dynamic and challenging and include a variety of work such as:
- Provide general legal advice to all business areas in the organisation.
- Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts such as engagement letters, IP/IT agreements, NDAs and ad-hoc agreements.
- Support internal marketing team with affiliate agreements, agency and licencing agreements.
- Identify and mitigate legal risk in line with the business’ aims
- Keeping abreast with financial services regulations which affect the business and advising on any changes
- Liaising with external lawyers where required;
CANDIDATE
- The ideal candidate will have broad legal experience working as a lawyer in-house or within a private practice firm
- Financial services experience will be desirable but not essential
