Legal Counsel | Buy Side Credit Fund | 3-5 PQE | Leveraged Finance| Exceptional Firm and Compensation

Our client is a market leading fund focused on sourcing, structuring and handling European private debt investments. They have an extraordinary talent pool and tight knit team; They are now looking for an additional lawyer, likely a law firm associate from a top tier firm with between 3 and 5 years of experience structuring and executing legal transactions to join their first-rate fund.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and negotiating all forms of documentation related to the execution of primary leveraged finance credit transactions, including but not limited to credit agreements, intercreditor arrangements, security and ancillary documents in respect of Direct Lending and Special Opportunities business lines.
• Assisting with structuring, document review and execution in relation to ABL transactions, CMBS, securitisations and high yield

Experience Required:

•             At least 2 years’ experience as a qualified solicitor at a top-tier firm.

•             Experience in cross-border leveraged and acquisition finance is essential.

•             In house secondment experience at a buy side credit firm is a distinct advantage.

Exposure to restructuring and insolvency, high-yield, ABL, CMBS or securitisations an advantage

 European language skills are a plus but not required.
