This is an exciting role for a Media Solicitor to join the City of London office.

The Media department was founded just two years ago, in this time it has grown significantly with an impressive client base spanning; publishers, journalists, media corporations, writers, actors, producers, photographers and fashion designers. Now is an exciting time to join the department as it undergoes a period of growth, the department is busy. You will deal with both contentious and non-contentious work, making for a more interesting role. Work will include; copyright licences and assignments, commercial contracts, management agreements, publishing contracts, recording agreements, defamation, royalty disputes, contract disputes and libel matters.

Due to this still being a relatively new department which is growing, this role comes with excellent prospects for progression, including Partnership for the right candidate.

• You will be a Media Solicitor with at least five years PQE
• You should ideally have both contentious and non-contentious experience, although if you are stronger on one side than another I would urge you to apply as your strengths can be complemented by the rest of the team
• You have strong interpersonal skills and should be the type of person that can build strong relationships with City of London office
• Salary is above market rate and dependent on your level of PQE, plus a very lucrative bonus structure and benefits package
• You will work as part of an award winning, top 100 teams.
