Legal Adviser -Privacy

Our client, an award winning leading international healthcare provider, is seeking a Privacy Lawyer on a permanent basis, to join their Legal Services Team based in London.

Principal duties will include but are not limited to;

* Providing support to the Data Protection Officer by assisting and advising on all aspects of privacy, information governance and documentation retention law

* Advising on all aspects of Data Protection Law and assisting with the implementation of GDPR

* Working in conjunction with the IT and information governance teams both in the UK and US

* Liaising with the Medical Records Department to ensure compliance with document retention standards

* Reviewing proposed policies and preparing new policies

You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 4 years PQE* and hold previous experience of dealing with records and information management.
