Senior Contracts Manager – Energy Sector – Kuala Lumpur
Our client is a large global engineering group and world leader in their field.
A new role has been created to look after the groups’ APAC markets supporting bids and proposal teams for this region and ongoing project execution.
The role will lead contract negotiations and drafting for complex projects. You will also implement contracting policies and procedures; liaise with legal, tax, finance and insurance teams closely on contracting; maintain files/databases; manage risk; conduct training and maintain legal awareness.
You will have worked in a similar role for at least 5 years, preferably a lot longer, overseeing tender/sales contracts for APAC regions. Candidates will possess at least a law or QS degree in Malaysia, UK, Australia or other common law jurisdiction. Knowledge of indemnity structures and risk mitigation is essential. You will have excellent English written and verbal communication skills and be a strong team player.
This is an important role within this organisation and commands an attractive package.
