My client, a FTSE 100 corporate is looking for a commercial lawyer for a maternity cover contract. 2 - 5 PQE is the suggested level, but this is not a requirement. This role will report to the Head of Legal and will cover the UK.
Duties will Include:
- Drafting and negotiating customer contracts, supplier contracts, finance leases, software licences, NDA's, letters of indemnity
- Handling compliance issues including competition and anti bribery matters
- Handling UK commercial property issues
- Handling ad-hoc litigation matters as they arise
- Advising the business on various legal queries as they arise
Candidates of interest will be:
- Qualified lawyers - in-house trained solicitors welcome
- NZ or Australian qualified candidates welcome
- Lawyers with previous experience in the FMCG or retail sectors
- Experienced contractors, or those in permanent roles interested to move into a contracting career
- Good general commercial contracts drafting and negotiating experience
