Are you a Fee Earner or Chartered Legal Executive specialising in either Private Client matters or Dispute Resolution matters with a desire to move into Private Client matters in particular Contentious Probate work? If so, this opportunity in central Newcastle with an extremely well regarded firm should not be missed. As a result of growth and an increase in contentious probate matters, our well established client has created an exciting new opportunity for a Fee Earner to pick up a full caseload, as well as develop work in the department.
Our client is based in central Newcastle but has a fantastic reputation on a national scale. As huge players on the national legal market, they attract high quality work and have access to an unrivalled client base. This is a fantastic working environment in which to really establish yourself as a Contentious Probate Fee Earner.
The Role:
-This role is an exciting new venture for our client and comes from an influx of high quality Contentious Probate work.
-Acting as a key team member, you will work between the Dispute Resolution and Private Client Departments. You will be fully supported in this role both by the Head of Private Client and the Head of Dispute Resolution.
-You will pick up your own caseload of Contentious Probate work and run these files from start to completion.
-There is also the opportunity for you to take part in Business Development and actively grow and develop the work.
The Candidate:
-For this role, it is essential that you have considerable experience either in Probate matters or alternatively managing dispute resolution matters with a passion to develop your career within contentious probate.
-It wold be desirable if you were STEP qualified or held membership of the ACTAPs but this is by no means essential and candidates without this will be happily considered.
-Excellent client care skills are essential for this role.
-Those with a keen aptitude for Business Development would be best suited for this role.
