Derivatives Lawyer

The firm is seeking to recruit a new Derivatives Lawyer into their City of London office.

The Derivatives practice at the firm has been market-leading for over 20 years. They are highly ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers. The team services an impressive client base that includes global and second tier investment banks, commercial banks, brokers, asset managers and wholesale markets service providers. They advise on derivatives and securities financing transactions and documentation, including drafting bespoke netting and collateral agreements, negotiating master agreements (such as ISDA Master Agreements, GMRAs and GMSLAs), drafting both structured and vanilla transaction documentation, providing guidance on new regulations, legal opinions and advising on closing out and unwinding transactions.

You will work closely Structured Finance Team where ample support resources are on hand. Both of these departments are well managed. They are ambitious and are growing quickly, you will be at the forefront of a growing department and will assist with the growth of the department. You will work as part of a friendly, supportive, and highly experienced team.

Due to the growth of the team, this role comes with good prospects for progression.

• You will be a Derivatives Lawyer with at least four years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience)
• You will have good technical knowledge
