THE FIRM
Just off the delightful market square in the pretty town centre of Romsey, our client is a very well-established local firm with a dynamic and forward-looking practice. The property and family teams are particularly busy and a vacancy has now arisen for an experienced solicitor or legal executive to join the firm and take on a busy caseload of tax and trusts matters.
THE ROLE
You will be undertaking the full remit of private client work, to include drafting wills, advising on inheritance issues and dealing with probate and estates management. The firm is particularly looking for a candidate who can take on some slightly more complex matters relating to tax and trusts, and would prefer a candidate with STEP membership – although this is not essential. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a solicitor of at least 3 years’ PQE, or a similarly-experienced legal executive;
Ideally, have STEP membership, although this is not essential;
Have a solid background in a range of private client matters;
Be flexible in your working hours, as the firm does offer some out-of-hours appointments;
Have great client-care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language.
