This brand new EMEA HR Manager vacancy represents a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Human Resources professional in London.
We have been instructed on a new vacancy with a top tier US and international law firm based in the city. The firm is looking to hire an experienced HR Manager on a permanent basis and they are looking for an individual who wants to take on a varied role with lots of responsibility to assist the current Director.
It’s a very busy, challenging and exciting opportunity to join a prestigious US law firm here in London with a highly competitive salary of up to £75,000 per annum + full firm benefits and this is negotiable and dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing input across a range of HR issues and opportunities
- Attending local Partner and Group meetings, ensuring HR feature as part of the agenda
- Working collaboratively with the partners to develop and implement solutions that enable the section(s) to achieve their strategic goals
- Helping to identify issues and opportunities and taking part in creating and implementing section specific initiatives and globally aligned programs to drive cultural change and engagement across the Firm
- Proactively sharing best practice, intelligence and firm wide programs and activities within the function and across the regional sections
- Advising on all employee relations issues and applying relevant guidance/policies and procedures in a commercial and practical way.
- Leading investigations and conduct hearings where necessary
- Coaching Partners in managing/dealing with under performance and managing sensitive exits accordingly
- Keeping up to date with external trends and best practice in HR and talent management more broadly
- Coaching and mentoring the junior members of the HR team, ensuring best practice is shared
Successful candidates will have prior HR Management experience gained from a City or US law firm and have the ability to think strategically, have demonstrable interpersonal skills and a strong IT proficiency. The CIPD qualification is also strongly desired.
