The Role
We are now actively seeking a dynamic Private Client Solicitor to grow into a potential Head of Department role, for a specialist team based in Milton Keynes. The successful Solicitor will simultaneously manage a team and a full caseload, ensuring an outstanding level of client care and service at all times. Areas will include: will drafting; administering trusts; lasting powers of attorney; estate administration and advice on probate; Court of Protection applications and; the preparation of trust deeds and accounts. In addition the successful Solicitor will build and strengthen client relationships and play an active role in business development events and initiatives.
It is envisaged that this role will require additional travel to some of the practices other offices where required. A potential senior position offering a challenging mix of work, partnership prospects and the chance to continue the development of an already thriving department. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with solid experience in Private Client;
Full membership of STEP is highly advantageous but not essential;
You will ideally have people management skills;
You will have excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach;
You will have proven experience of setting and meeting targets;
You will be a pro-active team player, with a flair for networking and business development.
