THE ROLE
Our reputable client is seeking a Crime Duty Solicitor to join their recognised team. You will manage a full caseload of criminal defences with minimal supervision. The successful Solicitor will conduct advocacy at the Magistrates Court and liaise with the police on a regular basis. As a Crime Duty Solicitor, you will be confident at representing clients held in detention at the police station and advise as appropriate. The Solicitor will prepare cases to full trial with a hands-on attitude and you will have a good level of experience across the board to take on a wide range of cases.

THE CANDIDATE
You will be a qualified Solicitor with additional Duty accreditation.
You will be able to attend slots on a rota basis and represent clients out of hours.
You will have experience liaising with the Crown Prosecution Service and local police.
You will have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
You will be empathetic and dedicated to representing clients.
You will have strong communication skills.
