Property Litigation Locum Solicitor

Locum cover is required to assist the firm whilst they are recruiting on a permanent basis, details as follows:-

The Position:-
* This is multi-office well established high street practice in Devon
* You will be working within the Litigation Department, dealing with Commercial, Residential and Agricultural Property Law Litigation including the following:-
o Commercial and residential landlord and tenant matters
o Arrears of rent, service charges, breach of covenant and disrepair
o Contentious and non-contentious tenancy renewals
o Possession proceedings, forfeiture and proceedings against trespassers
o Lease surrender negotiations
o Services charge disputes
o Mortgage dispute and mortgage possession
o Title and ownership disputes
o Adverse possession
o Dilapidations disputes
o Recovery of land or premises from unlawful occupiers/squatters
o Disputes over consent to assignment/sub-let/change use/alterations
* The cover is required whilst the firm recruits on a permanent basis so is for an estimated 2 - 4 months in duration
* Start date - Ideally mid August - early September
* Ideally full time cover required but part time hours will be considered
* Hourly rates - £30-£35ph depending on experience, but there is flexibility on this for the right candidate

The Ideal Candidate:-
* You will be a Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive/Fee Earner Qualified by Experience
* You will have experience of dealing with Property Litigation matters
* You will have experience of working as a Locum Solicitor
* You will have knowledge of the local area

As this cover is required whilst the firm is recruiting on a permanent basis, for the right candidate there is every possibility that this role could be made permanent.
