Insolvency and Restructuring - Senior Associate/Partner - London

Our client, a Legal 500 and Chambers ranked international practice is looking for a Partner or Senior Associate solicitor to join their London Insolvency Team.

Based in several locations across the UK and abroad, our client is a leading law firm which provides high quality legal advice tailored to both businesses and individuals. Their commitment to excellence dates back over 300 years with clients ranging from private individuals, owner managed businesses and start-ups to multi-national corporations, public companies, professional partnerships, banks and financial institutions.

The Insolvency and Restructuring division is now looking to recruit a Partner or Senior Associate seeking partnership to join the highly-regarded team. The group provides practical, commercial guidance for financial institutions, borrowers, companies, insolvency practitioners, directors, individuals, creditors, pension trustees and other insolvency stakeholders. They advise on the full spectrum of restructuring, insolvency, bankruptcy and recovery.

In addition to supporting clients across the UK, the team frequently advises on a wide variety of cross-border transactions and recoveries, with a particular focus on organisations in mainland Europe, the US, Far East, India and Russia.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record over as wide a range of both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters and be willing to work as part of a very busy team. It is not a necessity to come from a City or indeed a London firm if you have been involved in comparable, good quality work.

The successful Partner candidate will be expected to bring an established book of business with them, whilst a Senior Associate seeking partnership in the future will be judged on an individual basis, assessing their track record and level of potential following they have. Previous experience of winning new business as well as maintaining good client relationships is obviously essential to this appointment.
