The legal counsel will provide transactional legal support to Global Manufacturing & Supply, R&D, IT, Commercial and Global Policy teams and certain groups within Global Procurement that support the foregoing business

Our client a leading company based in the N West is looking to recruit a senior In House lawyer to work as the Legal Counsel for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on a broad array of issues relating to pharmaceutical transactions, including but not limited to key outsourcing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and collaboration agreements, clinical trial agreements, services agreements and other arrangements entered into by the client and third party suppliers and vendors. Knowledge of FDA pharmaceutical regulations (in particular cGxPs), technical and material transfer, and intellectual property issues would be helpful. This lawyer would be expected to assist his or her internal clients in structuring and advising on various transactions in a way that advances the company's strategy while addressing legal and regulatory risks. The lawyer is also expected to maintain his or her continued legal expertise and to help the company anticipate and proactively identify issues arising from the evolving legal and regulatory environment.

Profile

The ideal candidate should have significant relevant transactional legal experience, preferably with a pharmaceutical company or with a law firm that represents pharmaceutical companies with regard to transactional, commercial and regulatory matters. Candidates should have strong academic credentials and excellent writing and communication skills. Candidates should be entrepreneurial, team oriented, highly motivated and able to independently manage internal client relationships
