Dispute Resolution Paralegal/PA

Eximius is once again working with a top flight city practice in central London. Our client is on the lookout for two experienced paralegals to join a growing and market leading Dispute Resolution and Litigation team on an initial contractual basis but with the sight to extend if successful. 

The role is a hybrid position that requires paralegals who ideally have their LPC or BPTC completed with good grades and who are interested in working closely within a streamlined team of professionals. The position does have a small element of PA work involved due to the fact that you will be learning and working directly alongside recognised Associates and Partners of the firm on a daily basis. However, the client has stressed that 70% of the work will be top flight litigation paralegal work.

The generic duties of this position are as follows: 

• Handling a caseload of matters,
• Transcribing audio dictations, 
• File opening and closing,
• Knowledge Management,
• Maintaining client details,
• Providing general administrative duties

 This is of course not an exhaustive list but should give you a small taste for the role with this long established and pristine firm. Candidates applying will ideally have: 

• LPC or BPTC completed 
• Prior 6 months experience (minimum) in a commercial environment (ideally Legal 500 upwards)
• Experience handling their own caseload,
• Availability to start in less than 2 weeks’ notice.
