A Global leader in technology hardware and software devices which is regarded as a leading Consumer Electronics brand seeks the support of an Anti-Trust Legal Counsel to support the Regulatory & Compliance team on anti-trust matters. This business is a household consumer brand with a sales turnover of £30 bn. You will have gained at least 3 - 4 years' experience of working on anti-trust matters (including supporting on competition law investigations, merger control process and litigation) from working at a top competition law practice or a major corporate.

The Role
You will support the Head of Legal and the Regulatory & Compliance team on all legal issues relating to anti-trust where you will provide anti-trust advice to the European subsidiaries and to HQ in Asia. You will advise on day to day anti-trust issues arising in relation to commercial contracts and key business initiatives for the European subsidiaries. As part of this role you will draft and review guidelines and training materials and support the management of investigations at a pan-European level. You will oversee the management and review of 'Requests for Information from authorities in connection with such investigations and producing responses to the same. This role requires your input in assisting with competition law litigation (both defensive and offensive).

The Candidate
Applicants must be a UK/EU qualified solicitor with thorough knowledge of anti-trust issues and ideally have at least 3 years' experience of working on anti-trust matters from working at a top competition law firm or a major corporate. In-house experience of advising on anti-trust matters, particularly in assisting the business in dealing with regulatory authorities, is highly desirable. Candidates should have good academics with legal training from a top tier UK practice or international law firm.
