Our client is a software technology business which has been recently acquired by a Multinational Tech Business. The company has undergone a recent restructure which has created an opening for an all rounded Commercial Lawyer with a minimum of 4 yrs PQE to act as a sole counsel.
You will provide expert commercial legal advice to the UK and Ireland and work in conjunction with the EMEA Commercial Legal which supports the commercial and sales division including customer contracting/vendor agreements, disputes and data protection.
For this role candidates will need to have a minimum of 4 yrs PQE with solid commercial law experience whilst being able to provide pragmatic commercial (non Legal) advice and solutions. For this role you will need to be self-motivated with the ability to think fast and deliver results in a timely manner. Candidates with knowledge of UK Data Protection Laws (GDPR) would be advantageous. There is flexibility to work from the Reading Office (Winnersh) for 2 days a week and the remainder in London or Manchester.
