We have an excellent opportunity to work for a global market leader in its field. Our client has won over 100 industry awards and is the provider of choice for seven of the world's top ten technology companies. Based in Central London, this is a new role within the Legal Department where you will be supported by two other lawyers. You will provide legal support as assistance across the business with the primary focus being on:
- drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements entered into by the business;
- advising the business on all areas of law, such as IT projects, intellectual property rights and data protection matters; and
- managing external law firms and other professional advisors.
Essential skills:
- You should be a qualified lawyer with at least 1-3 years' PQE who trained and qualified in a leading City or Regional firm or in a recognised in-house team;
- Candidates who have previously worked in-house in an IT or FS environment (as a secondee or in-house lawyer) will be of particular interest;
- The ability to manage relationships with internal partners and external providers is essential, as this is a very business facing role; and
- Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
