Residential & Commercial Property Solicitors
Blackheath, South East London
A new opportunity has arisen for a Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join a multi-service, legal firm in Blackheath, south East London.
Currently the firm has 5 Property Solicitors, spread across 2 offices. You will be joining 3 of their existing Property Solicitors over at their Blackheath office. It is anticipated that your caseload will consist of 60-70% Commercial Property matters compared to Residential Conveyancing.
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced Property Solicitor as a Senior individual has recently left the firm therefore this client are looking for an experienced Property Solicitor who can continue this caseload, retain an existing and loyal client base; so go client care skills required including lots of contact and prompt returning of calls etc.
Requirements:
- 3+ years PQE Solicitor or experienced Legal Executive or Conveyancer.
- Should have a proven track record in Commercial Property - this is essential as there will be minimal supervision in commercial work so beginners are not welcome in this area (although there will be at least one colleague who carries a commercial caseload)
- Good client care skills - ability to provide a personal and attentive service - our clients are long standing clients in the community and loyal to the fee earner that has left so we wish to retain his client base.
- Interest in marketing and growing the firm as well as your own area of work.
- Good IT skills - display understanding of how IT can work for you in terms of efficiency and saving time - you will however have secretarial support.
