Deputy GC: Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund

A rarely available deputy role to the GC of multi-strategy fund.  Our client  is a multi-strategy fund in growth mode adding new strategies and jurisdictions and teams to it business. They are after a generalist to be part of their lean legal and compliance function. They are not too prescriptive on background as long as who ever they hire is willing to turn their hand to anything from funds and marketing to regulatory change and commercial work building out the business. This is an opportunity to be part of building a business out.  If you are a lawyer who wants a generalist in-house role with genuine commercial input and access to management and the business then we are happy to hear from you.  Our client will prioritize those with very strong academics. This role may suit lawyer with some funds and regulatory experience or lawyers who are willing to learn these areas.
