An International law firm based in Manchester City Centre are seeking an experienced Defendant Industrial Disease Legal Secretary within their Personal Injury department. Our client is a dynamic, rapidly expanding global law firm focused on providing a complete legal service to their clients in core sectors of legal services.

The Legal Secretary will support the team, in particular with the co-ordination of the processes which support the paperless working practices and specific NHS admin requirements under the SLA;

The Legal Secretary role will be busy and varied. Typical duties will include:

* Co-ordination of audit processes and reporting
* Managing registers and risk control
* Uploading to portal
* Co-ordination between the dedicated teams (Disease, Police, CAT Loss)
* Anonymising & redacting

To be considered for this position it is important that you have at least 2 years experience within a Industrial Disease or Catastrophic Loss department as either a Legal Secretary or Legal PA. You also must come from a defendant background.

You should be a confident Legal Secretary and be able to work under minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. You must have excellent IT skills in relation to Microsoft Office and be able to type a minimum of 60 words per minute. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and you should be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and third parties.
