A leading listed international construction and architecture organisation in the heart of London, with 5,000 in the UK. This industry leading and award-winning brand works on hugely prestigious national and international projects, with exposure across a wide variety of sectors. The organisation has a great reputation in terms of looking after its people, and is looking to grow its Digital offering to the market. The legal function is sizeable, with an excellent reputation and roughly 11 lawyers in London.

Your new role
A mid level corporate and intellectual property role, reporting to General Counsel. You will work on corporate work including divestment and M&A matters, and also advise on important intellectual property matters, including copyright/trademark infringement, IP licensing and technology agreements. You will understand and relay the effects of new technologies within the construction sector, and negotiate related contracts including SaaS and licensing agreements. Additionally you will advise on data sharing matters, and focus on the company's desire to optimise its digital business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a mid level lawyer with strong training, excellent academics and ideally a mixture of practice and in-house experience. You will have excellent intellectual property expertise, with the ability to also effectively advise on corporate matters. Experience in a digital, e-commerce or professional services environment will be highly valued. You will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to train and advise the business on the impact of new technologies in the construction sector.
