The firm is seeking to hire a Corporate Commercial Associate to join their Essex office.

This business has experienced natural growth in recent years, with a number of offices throughout Essex. They are a creative, entrepreneurial, ambitious, and forward-thinking practice with an electric feel throughout the firm. They are a well-established company who have an impressive client base; the firm has an ethos of exclusively dealing with quality work and charging well for it.

The Corporate Commercial department is only and small department, although very busy. The firm does not actively market the department at present due to the mass amount of work that they have. They practice seeking a Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor to work alongside the Partners to drive the department forwards, you will deal with an existing client base as well as participate in business development.

You will deal with a caseload of; Company sales and purchases, M&A, Shareholder agreements, Commercial contracts, Joint ventures, Limited liability agreements and some IP matters.

This role comes with good prospects for Partnership; it would suit a Senior Associate looking for a route to Partnership who may be in a top-heavy team.

• You will be a Corporate Commercial Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience)
• You should be an ambitious and dynamic candidate who wants to be at the forefront of an exciting venture
• It is essential that you have had good exposure to business development and have the confidence to go out and develop new business
• This role would suit a candidate looking for a springboard to Partnership, who is perhaps working in a top-heavy team
• This role comes with one of the most lucrative bonus structure which allows you to earn 20% of your billings
• Salary is very negotiable depending on your level of PQE
