Shipping Solicitor

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Shipping Solicitor to join a leading specialist law firm in Newcastle city centre.

Working within a supportive, established team you will deal with a full caseload of dry shipping matters together with international trade matters.

This is a unique opportunity to develop your post qualified career in a niche and highly sought after area of shipping law where you will deal with international arbitration work and have the opportunity for overseas travel.

In order to benefit fully, you will be a Solicitor at NQ level through to 4 yrs PQE, ideally with experience gained in shipping law.

However, my client is also keen to hear of solicitors who are interested in retraining, although it is absolutely essential you have previous commercial litigation or insurance litigation experience and are able to demonstrate a clear commitment to shipping law.  Exceptional academics are a must and as such, you will have a First Class or 2:1 degree from a leading University.
