Senior Planning Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large local authority based in London, which is easily reachable via public transport.
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Lawyer to undertake a large, varied caseload relating to Planning. Day to day duties will vary, but may involve handling the following matters;
Planning Obligations
Planning Advice
Highways
Appeals
Judicial reviews
Compulsory Purchase Orders
S106, S278, S38 at varying complexity
The ideal candidate will have strong CPO and regeneration experience due to the nature of the work that the council has.
Any previous experience of working within Local Government would be highly beneficial to applicants, although not essential. It is of more importance that the successful Planning Lawyer displays a strong work ethic and adaptability with their being numerous clients within the shared service.
