Planning Lawyer required to join a local authority organisation based in London for an initial 3 month period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planning Lawyer to join a team which offers excellent administrative support within a busy Local Authority.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who have previous local authority or private practice experience, although it is essential to hold CPO experience. The successful candidate will undertake a varied caseload of work, which may include;

● Obtaining compulsory purchase orders for regeneration schemes

● Drafting very complex, high profile s106 agreements

● Regeneration projects

● Acquiring empty properties

● Advising clients on planning issues

● Dealing with judicial review applications

● Attending to advise at planning committees

The local authority are happy to accommodate the successful candidate with a level of flexibility around working hours if required. The office is easy to reach, located within walking distance from the nearest train station.
