An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a Junior Legal Counsel to join a very successful business based in Nottingham and to run their in house legal function.
Client Details
Our client is a well established business based in the heart of Nottingham who have experienced substantial growth over recent years which has seen them become a key player within their industry.
Description
The role of Junior Legal Counsel is very broad and will cover all aspects of their legal affairs which will include:
- Drafting & negotiating commercial contracts
- Handling company secretarial matters
- Processing any litigation that arises
- Advising on employment law matters and drafting contracts of employment
- Advising on intellectual property matters and actioning on matters where required
Profile
As the sole point of legal contact within the business it is imperative that you are able to handle matters without the need for extensive external support. Ideally you will have experience working as a Junior Legal Counsel or in a capacity where you have worked closely with Legal Counsel. In House experience would of course be advantageous.
The role is based in Nottingham so ideally you will be based in or around the East Midlands region.
Job Offer
A salary of up to £40,000 is on offer.
