Costs Paralegal – This leading national practice is looking to hire a paralegal looking to develop their career in insurance litigation. The expanding costs team is looking to hire a junior paralegal to develop their skills within the team, grow their own caseload whilst assisting other more senior fee earners.

• Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 (depending on experience)
• Reports to: Costs team leader
• Previous Experience: A minimum of 6 months costs experience. Candidates who demonstrate the right approach and attitude will certainly be considered.

THE ROLE IN CONTEXT

The Manchester-based costs team has been experiencing a period of growth recently. The department trains and nurtures most of its own staff and a junior vacancy has become available for a paralegal to assist the more senior fee earners whilst also building up their own caseload.

Training is provided within this national firm and paralegals who show promise are encouraged to progress as soon as possible. The successful candidate will deal with a range of duties from administrative to fee earning duties. They will learn and develop with the team until they feel confident enough to carry their own caseload of costs matters.

Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, hard-working and ready to learn and take on new challenges. 6 months previous experience in costs would be useful.
