Construction Solicitor

My client is a full service leading City of London practice offering a wide range of services to individuals and businesses including Construction, Commercial Litigation, Employment, Corporate, Property, Family and Social Housing.   They are Legal 500 recommended across many practice areas and are undertaking a period of growth at present. 

The Construction team is headed up by experienced Partners and is a well-balanced team in terms of levels of experience comprising also of Solicitors, a Trainee and Paralegal.    They deal with contentious and non- contentious work on behalf of Registered Social Housing Providers, Contractors and sub-Contractors, Consultants, Developers, Housebuilders and other large corporations.

Applications are invited from Construction specialists with at least 3 years PQE with the majority of your experience being in contentious work.  You should have strong academics, excellent communication skills and a passion for Construction work.  You will manage a predominantly contentious caseload to include advising on procurement, defects, insurance work, extensions of time, drafting and managing proceedings for arbitration, building contracts, warranties, novations and assignments and all other related documentation.
