Legal Counsel - IT, Outsourcing & Procurement

Our client is a leading European investment bank based in Central London. A new opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to work in their Technology, Procurement and Outsourcing team on an initial 6 month contract with view to extend. You will be part of a busy and highly regarded legal function offering varied and challenging work.

You will be responsible for:

- advising on intra-group outsourcing projects in relation to commercial agreements and data protection matters

- drafting and negotiating contracts including outsourcing, procurement and technology agreements

- assisting on data transfer projects

- review and implementation of offshoring and smart-sourcing initiatives

- providing the business advice on relevant regulatory, data privacy, IP and technology issues

To be considered you will be 4 years + PQE with previous recent experience in a similar role focused on IP/IT/DP and procurement. You will be able to demonstrate strong contract drafting skills in addtion to being able to work effectively in a team based environment.
