Client Details
Work for one of the best known Multinational tech organisations in a great team. Join a company that for nearly 50 years has been pioneering cutting edge technologies for the modern world, and that never stops reinventing itself.
Description
You will join a team of attorneys supporting the Sales and Marketing Group across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and beyond. You will be a fully-integrated member of this team, the broader EMEA Legal Department, and the Law and Policy Group of about 700 people around the globe. You will craft solutions to help the organisation address the business and legal challenges of today and tomorrow, contributing to the success of a company that for nearly 50 years has been pioneering cutting edge technologies for the modern world, and that never stops reinventing itself.
You will work on a variety of matters in a multicultural and fast moving environment. In this position you will:
(1) Act as the lead EMEA attorney for the brand-new server systems sales group, partnering with business clients to develop and implement sales strategies, and counselling them on sales, competition and public procurement matters;
(2) Advise on go-to-market strategies, sales engagements, and pricing and marketing programs targeting the network of distributors, re-sellers and local integrators across the entire EMEA region;
(3) Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements for the delivery of hardware and software solutions, as well as services, with OEM's and end-customers operating in sectors as diverse as communications, automotive, and the Internet of Things in the Southern European region primarily Spain, Italy and Israel.
Profile
We are looking for an outstanding, highly motivated and commercially-minded lawyer, with the right "can-do" attitude and a firm commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients. You should have a degree in law and a strong academic record. You should be qualified to practice law in the EU with at least 5 years PQE, in private practice or in-house, ideally in a high-tech industry although all candidates with demonstrable experience to fulfill the role will be considered.
You should have a thorough understanding of contract law and commercial law, and significant experience of advising clients in these areas, in particular on complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional transactions. Knowledge of EU competition law and public procurement law would be advantageous.
You should also be:
(1) able to operate independently for most matters and work under pressure, often on multiple fronts;
(2) willing to take the lead, while also thriving in a team environment;
(3) organised, disciplined and results-oriented and (4) in possession of excellent written and oral communication, negotiation and drafting skills.
Job Offer
Excellent Salary, Bonus, Car allowance and benefits on offer for the right candidate.
