A prestigious US Law Firm based in the City is looking to recruit a new Receptionist/Admin Assistant to provide an efficient front-of-house and hospitality services to internal and external clients and assist the Office Manager with full administrative support. Responsibilities will include greeting all visitors to the office, ensuring the reception area and meeting rooms are presentable at all times, answering the switchboard and directing calls accordingly, booking couriers and taxis for employees and visitors, placing orders for breakfast and lunch meetings, checking stock levels of refreshments and ordering replenishments when necessary, updating and distributing the London office telephone contact list and franking and posting all letters and packages. You will also be responsible for providing assistance with booking flights and hotels, filing all invoices and bank statements, updating documents, entering new contact details onto a system and assisting the European Marketing and BD Manager when necessary. Applicants must have an excellent telephone manner and presentation, be eager to learn and develop, and want to work in a busy, professional and corporate environment where the expectations are high. Candidates should also be extremely proactive and demonstrate an attitude of ‘no job too big or too small’. Standard hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm.
