An exciting opportunity has arisen for a locum Employment Lawyer to join an ambitious firm based in the Birmingham area. This role is to cover a Maternity Leave, and is offered for an initial term of 6 months, subject to extension.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a locum Employment Lawyer to join an ambitious firm based in the Birmingham area. This role is to cover a Maternity Leave, and is offered for an initial term of 6 months, subject to extension.
About the role
Working within a friendly, established team, you will pick up a busy caseload of existing Employment matters. You will be acting for a range of respondent clients and dealing with a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including employment tribunal and litigation proceedings.
About the person
The Employment Solicitor must be a UK qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Lawyer. ideally with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE. Drafting skills and experience of undertaking advocacy are essential. Experience of working in a Top Tier firm would be an advantage, and a a passion for Business Development would be highly desirable.
