My client is a long established Law Firm based in the centre of London. Due to the retirement of the incumbent they are now looking for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join the team.
Key areas include:
Corporate: private company share and business acquisitions and disposals, joint venture and shareholder agreements, investment agreements, LLP agreements, share buy-back arrangements, bespoke articles of association, start-ups, associations and clubs, group restructuring, share options, and corporate governance.
Corporate finance: facility agreements, debentures, loan notes and personal guarantees.
Commercial: sale of goods and supply of services agreements, T&Cs of business, IP licensing and assignment, manufacturing, agency and distribution agreements, property development agreements and confidentiality agreements.
Growth areas: In light of the presently volatile corporate world, corporate insolvency experience would be useful. Also corporate governance in light of the post-Brexit vote.
Candidate Profile
They are looking for someone with at least 5 years PQE in Commercial Law who is looking for a long term opportunity to make his/her mark in the Firm. There is a possibility of full equity partnership after a year subject to the usual caveats. There is a very capable and experienced assistant who will provide the necessary support.
