Listed MNC, Healthcare – Inhouse Legal Director – 10 to 15+ PQE – General Corporate and Commercial

A leader in the adult and infant healthcare sector is currently looking to hire an In-house Counsel in their Hong Kong office. This is a newly created role due to their recent growth and acquisitions around the world.

As the Legal Director, you will supervise 2 small legal teams and oversee legal aspects of the group’s business operations in Asia, Europe and the US.

You will oversee the legal function in ensuring strong partnership with the various business units to facilitate their cross-border commercial activities. In addition, you will also advise the board members on strategic initiatives such as acquisitions and restructuring (recently completed a billion dollar transaction).

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior in-house lawyer to step up to a leadership role.

Requirements:

• 10–15+ years post qualification experience
• In-house general commercial experience required
• Experience in healthcare sector preferred
• Prior M&A or corporate restructuring experience preferred
• Mandarin required
