The client:
Our client, a leading investment bank is looking for a Structured Products and/or Derivatives Lawyer to join their legal team.
The role:
The successful candidate will be working alongside the front office business on interesting and complex structuring deals across a variety of asset classes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing legal support to the front office business on structuring and execution of securitized derivatives across all asset classes;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating associated legal documentation;
- Remaining up to date with existing and upcoming regulations which affects the business’ transactions;
- Participation in interesting departmental initiatives
- Liaising with external counsel when required
The candidate:
- This role will be ideal for an 3PQE+ Derivatives and/ or Structured Finance Lawyer from private practice or a financial services institution
- If from private practice, in-house secondment experience will be desirable not essential
