A software technology business which has undergone a recent restructure has created an opening for a Legal Counsel with at least 3 yrs PQE in Tech and M&A.
You will work alongside other teams within the Legal function to maintain a consistent end-to-end legal support to wider business colleagues on M&A transactions. Your main role is to provide first-class end-to-end M&A legal advice whilst working closely with the Corporate Development Team on the execution of transactions in multiple jurisdictions.
For this role candidates will need to have a minimum of 3 yrs solid cross border M&A legal experience and excellent drafting and reviewing skills. Must be currently working for a leading City Law Firm with some secondment experience ideally gained within SaaS, Cloud, commercial contracts, data privacy and experience of working in commerce (particularly within the Technology sector). In addition, you will need experience of advising publicly listed companies and familiarity with obligations affecting listed companies. Experience working on financing and refinancing transactions would be advantageous.
