Our client is a household name PLC seeking to strengthen its legal team with the appointment of a Data Privacy Lawyer. You will lead advice to the global group on privacy issues and oversee both strategy and general advice. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy whilst working within a large supportive legal team.

In this position, you will not only build relationships with internal stakeholders and train other legal members, but you will also work closely with external counsel.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (UK), minimum 5 PQE*.
  • Substantial experience in data privacy law.
  • Trained with a leading law firm.
  • Exceptional commercial awareness.
  • In-house experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
