My client requires a Personal Injury Solicitor with NQ-2 PQE experience to join their Glasgow office and handle mainly Pursuer but some Defender, RTA Personal injury cases pre-litigation and non – PI RTA cases.
Job Purpose
• A Personal Injury Solicitor to handle mainly Pursuer but some Defender, RTA Personal injury cases pre-litigation and non – PI RTA cases
• To prepare and manage RTA litigated cases at Sheriff court level.
Key Responsibilities
• A Personal Injury solicitor with knowledge and experience of RTA Scottish Protocol PI cases.
• Knowledge and experience of non –PI RTA cases pre-litigation.
• Capable of drafting and running litigated cases mainly PI but also non-PI RTA cases at Sheriff Court level.
• Responsible for a high volume caseload personal injury RTA pursue claims.
• To progress your caseload in a manner to ensure that clients receive appropriate, professional, timely and pertinent legal advice.
• To identify early those cases where proceedings would be tactically beneficial to litigate and to do so expeditiously.
• To achieve and exceed various targets set in relation to, for example, profit costs, settlements and issuing, without compromising the firm’s integrity.
Experience
• A Personal Injury Solicitor with NQ-2 years PQE experience in RTA Personal Injury environment at pre-litigation and Sheriff Court level
• Experience of drafting and running RTA cases in Sheriff Court
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Good IT and interpersonal skills
