Description
This role supports the work of the CEO office and of the Governance Manager to whom the post holder reports.
You will be required to provide support to the Board of Trustees and senior management team with sound legal and corporate advice to ensure all business decisions, operations and processes including employee relations and contracts management are in compliance with excellent legal and governance practice and mitigate risk where appropriate for the Society.
Profile
The successful candidate will have
- Be a qualified solicitor
- A good understanding of charity, business and employment law
- Ideally you will have experience in charity and corporate governance however this is not essential
- Excellent written communication skills including minute writing and proof reading
